In this teaching, we hear Pastor Mike talk about Submission competitions and how it makes relationships better for everyone. If we both give sacrificially, we give what we couldn't get on our own. My wife can give me what I couldn't get by myself...obviously. So we need healthy competition.
It's all about helping everyone unlock their individual potential so they can make the team better. When the team gets better, everyone on the team wins. Submission is a competition, but it's healthy competition.
So why should we submit to one another out of reverence for Christ? Ultimately, we're on God's team and it is worshiping God.
